Welcome to Carol’s Kennels and Cattery

We are situated on the outskirts of the Forest of Dean in the beautiful country side between Lydney and Chepstow.
Carol lives here with her own Greyhounds and a cheeky parrot. Th is means there is someone to attend and care for your pets needs at all times.
Lived here since 2000 and has loyal, dedicated and experienced staff. We pride ourselves on giving the highest level of care for your pets and excellent customer service.
We are fully licenced and insured to care for 35 dogs and 15 cats.
We charge by the night and provide an all inclusive service which includes most foods, heating, walks, baths as needed, bedding and the administration of medication. Our prices are discounted for more than one pet sharing a kennel or chalet. There is a small surcharge for bank holidays. Please ring us for more.information.
Our opening times are 9am to 1pm and 3pm to 4.30 everyday with the exception of Christmas day, boxing day and New years day. We are still here caring for your pets and helping them open their stockings!
Our only requirement is that all pets are up to date with their annual vaccinations (including the kennel cough vaccination for dogs)

Kennels

We have 21 large kennels with enclosed heated bedding areas and covered outside runs. Our kennels can accommodate more than one dog from the same family sharing. We welcome all breeds and sizes, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes.
We have several exercise yards and a large secure orchard. If your dog is happy to play with our other guests we socialise them under supervision so they can have as much exercise as possible. If you prefer for your dog not to mix, be assured they will still have equal amounts of time out and attention. In the warmer months we have paddling pools for the dogs to play in and have fun. All of our guests have daily walks (on leads) to explore our country location.
We follow your instructions on your dogs feeding regime and aim to keep to their routine. Treats a and food are included in the price with the exception of veterinary prescription diets and raw meats, however you are welcome to bring this with you.
We provide beds and warm comfy bedding, bowls, toys and anything else your dog may require. Please feel free to bring something from home if you think your dog would like this.

Cattery

Our cattery has 8 large chalets which include raised bedding areas scratch posts, toys and music playing throughout the day. Our chalets have covered outdoor runs with logs for them to climb on and shelves to sunbathe on.
We follow your instructions with their grooming and dietary needs, and with your permission spoil them with chicken, tuna and tasty treats.
Our cats have company, fuss and cuddles all day long.

Contact us

We love to meet new customers and pets. We encourage you to come and have a look around the property before their stay. We do viewings between 2pm and 3pm. We also offer a free day for your dogs so they can get to know us and their surroundings before their stay.
